Terms of Use
Version 1.2-2026-09-22
1. Who we are
These Terms of Use are between you and Ultrasooq (“we”, “us”, “our”) — the trading name under which this marketplace is operated.
Ultrasooq means the website at www.ultrasooq.com, the Ultrasooq mobile applications, and any related service we operate (together, the “Platform”).
You can contact us at support@ultrasooq.com.
2. Definitions
- Buyer — a user who orders Goods or Services through the Platform.
- Seller — a user who lists Goods or Services for sale on the Platform. Sellers are independent third parties.
- Goods — physical products listed on the Platform.
- Services — services listed on the Platform, including services offered by users registered in a freelancer or company capacity.
- Listing — a Seller’s offer of Goods or Services, including its description, images, specifications, price and any stated terms.
- Order — a Buyer’s request to purchase one or more Listings, submitted through checkout.
- Order Line — an individual Listing within an Order. Orders are placed, managed and cancelled line by line. Where money we return to you goes is governed by clause 8.0 of the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
- Wallet — the balance held against your Platform account, as described in clause 9.
- Platform Fees — amounts we charge for use of the Platform, as described in clause 8.
- Claim Window — the period within which you must tell us about a problem with an Order Line if you want us to deal with it under the Refund & Cancellation Policy or the Dispute Resolution Policy. How long it is, and the event it runs from, are stated in section 4.3 of the Refund & Cancellation Policy — the only place in our documents that states them. This definition states no period of its own. The same Claim Window applies however you raise the problem: asking for a refund and raising a dispute are subject to one and the same period.
- Terms — these Terms of Use, together with the Refund & Cancellation Policy, the Delivery & Shipping Policy, the Dispute Resolution Policy and the Privacy Policy.
3. Acceptance of these Terms
3.1 By creating an account, placing an Order, listing Goods or Services, or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
3.2 These Terms incorporate by reference, and you also agree to:
- the Refund & Cancellation Policy;
- the Delivery & Shipping Policy;
- the Dispute Resolution Policy;
- the Privacy Policy.
If there is a conflict between these Terms and one of those documents, the more specific document governs on the subject it covers.
Where money we return to you goes is dealt with in one place only: clause 8.0 of the Refund & Cancellation Policy. Neither these Terms nor any other document we publish states a separate rule on that subject.
3.3 If you use the Platform on behalf of a company or other legal person, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that entity, and “you” means that entity.
4. Eligibility and accounts
4.1 Eligibility. You may use the Platform only if you are legally capable of entering into a binding contract under the law of the Sultanate of Oman. Accounts may not be created by anyone we have previously suspended or removed.
4.2 Registration. You must provide accurate, current and complete information when you register, and keep it up to date.
4.3 Email verification. We may require you to verify your email address before your account becomes usable, and may restrict access to unverified accounts.
4.4 Account security. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us immediately at the address in clause 1 if you believe your account has been accessed without your authority.
4.5 Business accounts, sub-accounts and team members. An account holder may create additional accounts or invite team members and grant them permissions. The account holder remains responsible for everything done under any account or sub-account it controls, including Orders placed, Listings created and payments made.
5. What the Platform is, and who you are contracting with
5.1 We are a marketplace. Ultrasooq is an online marketplace. It lets independent Sellers list Goods and Services and lets Buyers find and order them. We also provide supporting features such as requests for quotation, group buying, supplier and factory listings, messaging between users, and reviews.
5.2 We are not the Seller. Except where a Listing expressly identifies Ultrasooq itself as the Seller, we do not own, manufacture, inspect, store, handle, ship or supply the Goods or Services listed on the Platform.
5.3 The contract of supply is between you and the Seller. When you place an Order, the contract for the supply of those Goods or Services is formed between the Buyer and the Seller. Ultrasooq does not supply them. Each Order Line may be with a different Seller, and each such contract is separate.
5.3A What we do nevertheless do. Clause 5.3 does not mean we stand outside the transaction. We:
- collect the whole of the price from you, through our own merchant account, so that your card statement shows us and not the Seller (clause 5.6);
- decide, ourselves, whether to cancel an Order Line, whether to make a refund, and whether an Order-related complaint succeeds, under the Refund & Cancellation Policy and the Dispute Resolution Policy; and
- hold and pay out the money in the meantime (clause 9).
Nothing in clause 5.3 limits any right you have against us under the law of the Sultanate of Oman, including any right you have because we are the party that took the payment.
5.4 How we handle payment. For your convenience, we collect the full amount payable for an Order from you, and we account to the Seller for the amounts due to it after deducting Platform Fees and any other amounts properly deductible under clause 8. Payment by you to us discharges your payment obligation to the Seller for that Order to the extent of the amount paid.
5.5 When money reaches the Seller. Amounts due to a Seller are credited to the Seller’s Wallet and become available to it when the Order is completed. We do not hold Order funds in a segregated escrow or trust account, and we do not represent that we do.
5.6 Merchant of record. Card payments for all Sellers are processed through a single merchant account operated by us. Your card statement will therefore show us, not the Seller’s name.
5.7 No endorsement, and what a Seller’s name on the Platform means. Listing a Seller, a product, a brand or a service on the Platform is not an endorsement or a warranty by us of that Seller, product, brand or service. The Seller name shown against a Listing and on your Order is the name that Seller registered with us. We do not verify it, and it is not a statement by us of that Seller’s legal identity, registration or licensing (clause 17.3).
5.8 Listings are an invitation, not an offer. Prices, stock levels and specifications shown on the Platform may change, and may occasionally be wrong. We and the Seller may decline or cancel an Order affected by an obvious pricing or description error. Where you have already paid for that Order, we will contact you and deal with your payment before we cancel anything, not afterwards — clause 8.0 of the Refund & Cancellation Policy says where the money goes and, at clause 8.0(f), why the order of those two steps decides what we are able to do.
6. Requests for quotation, group buying and other trade features
6.1 The Platform offers features including requests for quotation (“RFQ”), Seller quotes, group-buying arrangements, factory and supplier listings, and dropshipping arrangements between users.
6.2 A quotation submitted by a Seller in response to an RFQ is an offer capable of acceptance on the terms stated in it. It becomes binding when it is accepted through the Platform and the resulting Order is paid for. Terms specific to a quotation (quantity, price, validity period, lead time) are agreed between the Buyer and the Seller and are not verified or guaranteed by us.
6.3 Where users agree commercial terms with each other through Platform messaging or outside the Platform, those terms bind them and not us.
6.4 Services. Where what you buy is a Service rather than Goods, the Delivery & Shipping Policy does not apply to it, and the Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to it as set out in clause 1.3 of that policy.
7. Orders
7.1 Placing an Order. You place an Order by completing checkout. Your Order is an offer to buy on the terms shown at checkout, and is accepted when we confirm it on behalf of the Seller and payment is successfully taken.
7.2 Currency. All prices on the Platform are shown and charged in Omani Rials (OMR). We do not display or charge in any other currency.
7.3 Payment methods. You may pay by payment card or from your Wallet balance. No other payment method is currently available; in particular, cash on delivery is not offered.
7.4 Payment authorisation. By submitting card details you confirm you are authorised to use that card. Card payments are taken through our payment provider’s payment page.
7.5 Unpaid or incomplete Orders. An Order for which payment is not completed may be cancelled automatically and any reserved stock released.
7.6 Order documents. Order confirmations and summaries available on the Platform are commercial records of your Order. They are not tax invoices, they are generated when you open them rather than issued and kept, and they must not be relied on as tax documentation. We do not currently issue tax invoices. If you need one, contact us using the details in clause 1 and we will tell you what we can provide and, where the Seller is the party who must issue it, pass your request to that Seller.
8. Prices, fees and taxes
8.1 Prices. The price of a Listing is set by the Seller. The total shown at checkout before you confirm is the total you will be charged for that Order.
8.2 Platform Fees. We charge fees for use of the Platform. Fees may be charged to Buyers, to Sellers, or to both, and may vary by product category, sale type, payment method and Seller. Any fee payable by a Buyer is shown in the checkout total before you confirm the Order. Fees payable by a Seller are deducted from amounts we account to that Seller.
8.3 Taxes. Each party is responsible for its own taxes arising from its own activity.
8.4 Refunds of fees. Whether Platform Fees are returned when an Order is refunded is dealt with in the Refund & Cancellation Policy; where they are returned, clause 8.0 of that policy governs where they go.
8.5 Changes to fees. We may change our fees. Changes apply to Orders placed after the change takes effect. Where a change affects a Seller, we will notify that Seller before it takes effect.
9. Wallet
9.1 What the Wallet is. Your account has a Wallet balance. It holds amounts due to you as a Seller, and any amount we return to you that clause 8.0 of the Refund & Cancellation Policy directs to your Wallet. Whether a cancellation, a refund or a complaint decided in your favour produces Wallet credit at all is decided by that clause and not by these Terms, which state no rule of their own on it.
9.2 What you can do with it. Wallet balance may be used to pay for Orders on the Platform, and may be withdrawn to a bank account in your own name in accordance with clause 9.3.
9.3 Withdrawals. To withdraw, you submit a withdrawal request with a valid IBAN, account holder name and bank name. The requested amount is frozen on your Wallet while the request is reviewed. Withdrawals are subject to a minimum amount of OMR 1.000, to our review and approval, and to any checks we are required or choose to carry out — we may ask you for identification or other information before approving a withdrawal, and we may refuse a withdrawal to an account that is not in your name. Every withdrawal is reviewed by a person before it is paid, and approved withdrawals are paid by bank transfer. We do not publish a period within which a withdrawal request is reviewed. Nothing in the Platform measures how long that review takes, and we will not state a period we cannot stand behind. If a request has been outstanding and you want to know where it stands, contact us using the details in clause 1. The time for funds to reach your account after approval is set by the banks involved.
9.4 What the Wallet is not. The Wallet is not a bank account, is not a deposit, does not earn interest or profit, and is not covered by any deposit protection scheme.
9.5 Suspension of Wallet activity. We may freeze a Wallet balance or refuse a withdrawal where we reasonably suspect fraud, unauthorised card use, money laundering, a breach of these Terms, or where we are required to do so by law or by a payment provider.
10. Delivery, cancellation, refunds and disputes
These subjects are governed by the companion policies, which form part of these Terms:
- How Goods reach you, who delivers, tracking, confirmation of receipt — Delivery & Shipping Policy.
- Cancelling an Order Line, and how money comes back — Refund & Cancellation Policy.
- Raising a complaint about an Order, how it is decided, and what you receive if it is decided in your favour — Dispute Resolution Policy.
10.1 In summary, and without limiting those documents:
- Delivery is performed by the Seller or a carrier the Seller arranges. We are not the carrier. Any delivery estimate shown is provided by the Seller and is not a guaranteed date.
- An Order Line may be cancelled through the Platform up to the point described in the Refund & Cancellation Policy. Cancelling an Order Line stops it being fulfilled; it does not by itself decide where your money goes. Clause 10.2 says where that is decided.
- If you paid by card and you want your money back on that card, contact us using the details in clause 1 before you cancel anything. Clause 8.0(f) of the Refund & Cancellation Policy explains why the order of those two steps matters.
10.2 Where money we return to you goes
Whenever we return money to you — after a cancellation, after a refund, after an Order we cancel because of a pricing or description error, after a collection Order you did not collect, or after a complaint decided in your favour — where that money goes is governed by clause 8.0 of the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
These Terms state no rule of their own on it and reserve no discretion over it. If you paid by card, read clause 8.0 before you cancel anything: clause 8.0(f) explains why the order in which things happen decides what we are able to do.
What a returned amount covers is in clause 8.1 of that policy, and how long it takes is in clause 8.2. Nothing in these Terms affects your right to contact your card issuer (clause 11.7).
10.3 Returns. We do not operate a returns process. If there is a problem with an item you have received, raise it under the Dispute Resolution Policy; where a Seller agrees to take an item back, that is an arrangement between you and that Seller, and any money returned to you still goes where clause 8.0 of the Refund & Cancellation Policy says it goes.
10.4 Keeping track. You will not be able to see the progress of a cancellation refund or a refund request on the Platform. If you want to know where yours has got to, contact us using the details in clause 1.
11. Buyer obligations
You agree that you will:
- 11.1 provide accurate delivery and contact information, and be available to receive Goods or to collect them where collection was chosen;
- 11.2 use payment methods you are authorised to use, and not attempt to obtain Goods or Services without paying for them;
- 11.3 not place Orders you do not intend to complete, and not use cancellation, refund or dispute mechanisms dishonestly;
- 11.4 inspect Goods on receipt and raise any problem through the Platform within the Claim Window, in accordance with the Refund & Cancellation Policy and the Dispute Resolution Policy;
- 11.5 where you buy for business purposes, comply with any import, licensing or regulatory requirement applying to what you buy; and
- 11.6 not resell Goods in breach of any restriction lawfully imposed by the Seller or by law.
11.7 If you think a charge is wrong. If you believe a charge is wrong, contact us using the details in clause 1 — we can usually sort a problem out faster than a bank dispute can. Nothing in these Terms requires you to come to us first, and nothing in them takes away your right to ask your card issuer to dispute a charge under its own rules. If you do contact your issuer, please tell us as well, so that we are not both working on the same problem and so that we can respond accurately.
We will not penalise you for raising a bank dispute in good faith. We may suspend or close an account that repeatedly raises bank disputes we find to be unfounded, or that we reasonably believe to be fraudulent (clause 20.2).
You cannot recover the same money twice. Where we have already returned an amount to you for an Order Line, we may set off anything you then recover from your issuer for the same Order Line.
12. Seller obligations
If you list Goods or Services on the Platform, you additionally agree that:
12.1 Right to sell. You own the Goods or are authorised to sell them, they are not counterfeit, stolen, or subject to any third-party right that prevents their sale, and you hold every licence, permit and registration required to sell them in the Sultanate of Oman.
12.2 Accurate Listings. Your Listings are accurate and not misleading, including description, images, specifications, brand, origin, condition, quantity, price and any stated lead time. You will keep stock and price information current.
12.3 Lawful Goods. You will not list anything prohibited by clause 14 or by law.
12.4 Fulfilment. You will fulfil accepted Orders, arrange delivery or collection, provide tracking information where you have it, and keep the Order status on the Platform up to date and truthful. You are responsible for the Goods until they are delivered or collected.
12.5 Consumer obligations. You are responsible for meeting any warranty, guarantee, after-sales, or consumer-protection obligation owed to the Buyer under Omani law in respect of what you sell. As between you and us, that responsibility is yours — and where we are nevertheless required to answer to a Buyer or to an authority for something you sold, or where we return money to a Buyer in respect of your Order Line, we may recover it from you under clause 12.7 and clause 12.10.
12.6 Taxes and invoicing. You are responsible for charging, collecting and remitting any tax due on your sales, and for issuing any tax invoice a Buyer is entitled to.
12.7 Fees and payment. You authorise us to collect the price from the Buyer on your behalf, to deduct Platform Fees and any other amounts properly due, and to account to you for the balance through your Wallet in accordance with clause 5.5.
12.8 Disputes. You will participate in the dispute process described in the Dispute Resolution Policy, respond within the time it specifies, and comply with the outcome.
12.9 No circumvention. You will not use the Platform, or contact details obtained through it, to move a transaction off the Platform in order to avoid Platform Fees, and you will not include contact details, payment links or off-Platform offers in Listings or messages for that purpose.
12.10 Indemnity. You will indemnify us against any claim, loss, fine or cost we suffer arising from your Listings, your Goods or Services, your breach of these Terms, or your breach of any law.
13. Reviews, messages and other content you submit
13.1 You may submit content to the Platform — Listings, images, specifications, documents, reviews, ratings, messages, RFQ details and profile information (“User Content”).
13.2 You keep ownership of your User Content. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt (for formatting and display), translate and display it for the purpose of operating and promoting the Platform, for as long as you keep it on the Platform and for a reasonable period afterwards in backups and records.
13.3 You confirm that you have the rights necessary to grant that licence, and that your User Content does not infringe anyone’s rights or break any law.
13.4 Reviews. Reviews must reflect genuine experience. You must not write, buy, solicit or incentivise false reviews, and you must not review your own Listings or those of a person connected to you.
13.5 Moderation. We may, but are not obliged to, review User Content. We may remove or restrict access to User Content that we reasonably believe breaks these Terms or the law, and we may do so without notice where the content is unlawful or harmful.
13.6 Messaging. Messages sent through the Platform are stored on our systems and may be accessed by us where necessary to investigate a dispute, a complaint, a suspected breach of these Terms, or where we are required to do so by law. Do not use Platform messaging to send payment card details or other sensitive information.
14. Acceptable use
14.1 You must not:
- use the Platform for any unlawful purpose, or to facilitate one;
- impersonate anyone, or misrepresent your identity, business or affiliation;
- interfere with the Platform’s operation, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of it, to any account, or to any system connected to it;
- use any automated means to scrape, copy, index or extract data from the Platform, except a search engine operating within the limits we publish;
- circumvent any rate limit, access control, geographic restriction or security measure;
- upload malware, or anything designed to damage or disrupt;
- harvest personal data of other users, or contact them for purposes unconnected with a transaction on the Platform;
- use the Platform to launder money, to finance terrorism, or to evade sanctions;
- carry out transactions that have no genuine commercial purpose, including transactions whose purpose is to move money between accounts or to test payment credentials; or
- resell, sublicense, frame or systematically republish the Platform or its content.
14.2 Restricted and prohibited Goods and Services. You must not list, buy or sell anything whose sale is prohibited or restricted under the law of the Sultanate of Oman, or that our payment providers or the card schemes prohibit.
15. Intellectual property
15.1 Our rights. The Platform, its software, design, database, text, graphics, logos and the Ultrasooq name and marks are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property law.
15.2 Your licence. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Platform for its intended purpose, subject to these Terms.
15.3 Restrictions. Except as clause 15.2 allows or the law permits, you must not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, sell, rent, sub-licence, modify, decompile or create derivative works from any part of the Platform or its content. You must not use our name, logo or marks without our prior written consent, and you must not present the Platform inside a frame or in any way that misrepresents its origin.
15.4 Seller and third-party marks. Brand names, logos and product images appearing in Listings belong to their owners. Their appearance on the Platform does not transfer any right in them to you.
15.5 Infringement claims. If you believe content on the Platform infringes your rights, contact us at the address in clause 1 with: identification of the right you hold, identification of the content, your contact details, and a statement that your complaint is made in good faith. We will consider properly made complaints and may remove content, suspend a Listing or suspend an account in response.
16. Availability of the Platform
16.1 We aim to keep the Platform available, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure against every threat.
16.2 We may suspend, withdraw or restrict all or part of the Platform for maintenance, security, or for business reasons. We will give notice where it is reasonable to do so.
16.3 We may change the Platform, its features and its content at any time. Changes will not affect an Order that has already been accepted and paid for.
17. Warranties and disclaimers
17.1 The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, and subject to clause 18.1, we exclude all implied warranties, conditions and terms relating to the Platform itself.
17.2 We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness or currency of Listings, product descriptions, specifications, images, prices, availability, or any information supplied by Sellers or other users.
17.3 We do not verify the identity, honesty, solvency, licensing, or capability of Sellers or Buyers, and we give no warranty about them, unless we expressly state otherwise for a particular programme.
17.4 Any warranty, guarantee or after-sales commitment relating to Goods or Services is given by the Seller, not by us. Nothing in this clause affects rights you have against the Seller, rights you have against us under the Refund & Cancellation Policy or the Dispute Resolution Policy, or any right you have under Omani consumer-protection law that cannot be excluded — including any right you have against us because we are the party that took your payment (clause 5.3A).
18. Limitation of liability
18.1 What we never exclude. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded under the law of the Sultanate of Oman.
18.2 What we are not liable for. Subject to clause 18.1, we are not liable for:
- the acts or omissions of a Seller, a Buyer, or a carrier, including failure to supply, late supply, non-conforming Goods, or failure to pay;
- the quality, safety, legality or fitness of Goods or Services listed by Sellers;
- loss or damage arising from information supplied by another user;
- loss or damage arising from your failure to keep your account credentials secure; or
- interruption or unavailability of the Platform.
18.3 Indirect loss. Subject to clause 18.1, we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business, loss of anticipated savings, loss of goodwill, or any indirect or consequential loss.
18.4 Consumers. If you are a consumer, clauses 18.2 and 18.3 apply only to the extent permitted by law, and do not affect your statutory rights.
19. Indemnity
You will indemnify us, and our officers and employees, against any claim, demand, loss, liability, fine, cost or expense (including reasonable legal costs) arising from your use of the Platform, your User Content, your breach of these Terms, or your breach of any law or third-party right.
20. Suspension and termination
20.1 Your right to stop. You may stop using the Platform at any time. You can delete your account yourself — in the Ultrasooq app under Settings → Account → Delete account, or on the website under My settings or at www.ultrasooq.com/delete-account — or ask us to close it by contacting us at the address in clause 1. When you delete your account we close it straight away and erase your personal data as our Privacy Policy describes; clause 20.4 still applies to Orders and amounts already due.
20.2 Our right to suspend or terminate. We may suspend, restrict or terminate your access to the Platform, remove Listings, or close your account if:
- you breach these Terms or any companion policy;
- we reasonably suspect fraud, unauthorised card use, money laundering, or other unlawful activity;
- your conduct exposes us, another user, or a payment provider to legal, financial or reputational risk;
- a payment provider, card scheme or regulator requires it; or
- you supplied false registration information.
20.3 Notice. We will give you notice and, where the circumstances allow, an opportunity to put things right. We may act without prior notice where the matter is urgent, unlawful, or where notice would prejudice an investigation.
20.4 Effect of termination. Termination does not affect:
- Orders already accepted and paid for — you and the Seller remain bound by them;
- amounts already due;
- clauses that by their nature survive, including clauses 8, 12.10, 13.2, 15, 17, 18, 19 and 25.
21. Changes to these Terms
21.1 We may change these Terms and the companion policies from time to time — for example to reflect changes in the Platform, in our fees, or in the law.
21.2 The current version, with its version label, is always published at https://www.ultrasooq.com/terms.
21.3 Where a change materially affects your rights or obligations, we will give you notice before it takes effect — by email to your registered address, by a notice on the Platform, or both — and will state the date the new version takes effect.
21.4 Changes apply to Orders placed on or after the effective date. They do not change the terms of an Order already accepted and paid for.
21.5 If you continue to use the Platform after the effective date, you accept the new version. If you do not accept it, stop using the Platform and, if you wish, close your account under clause 20.1.
22. Notices and communications
22.1 We may contact you by email at your registered address, by notification through the Platform or the mobile application, or by SMS. You are responsible for keeping your contact details current.
22.2 You may contact us using the details in clause 1.
22.3 We may send you service messages about your account, your Orders and these Terms. These are not marketing and you cannot opt out of them while you hold an account. Marketing messages are separate and are governed by your marketing preferences and the Privacy Policy.
23. Personal data
We handle personal data in accordance with the Privacy Policy. Where you obtain another user’s personal data through the Platform — for example a delivery address — you may use it only to complete the transaction it relates to, and you must protect it and not use it for marketing.
24. General
24.1 Force majeure. We are not liable for failure or delay caused by something outside our reasonable control, including natural events, war, civil unrest, epidemic, government action, failure of a telecommunications or payment network, or failure of a third-party service we rely on.
24.2 Assignment. You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms without our written consent. We may assign or transfer ours, including on a reorganisation or sale of the business, provided your rights are not adversely affected.
24.3 Severability. If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remainder continues in force and the invalid provision is treated as modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable.
24.4 No waiver. A delay or failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of it.
24.5 Entire agreement. These Terms, with the companion policies, are the entire agreement between you and us about your use of the Platform, and replace any earlier version — including the document dated 22 March 2024. This does not limit liability for fraud.
24.6 No partnership. Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, joint venture, employment relationship or agency between you and us, except the limited payment-collection arrangement described in clause 5.4.
24.7 Third parties. These Terms do not give rights to anyone who is not a party to them, except that clause 19 may be enforced by our officers and employees.
25. Governing law and jurisdiction
25.1 Governing law. These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter, are governed by the law of the Sultanate of Oman.
25.2 Jurisdiction. The courts of the Sultanate of Oman have exclusive jurisdiction, except that nothing in this clause removes any right you have as a consumer to bring a claim, or to complain, in a forum that Omani law makes available to you.
25.3 Before you go to court. The Dispute Resolution Policy describes how to raise a complaint about an Order. Using it does not affect your right to bring proceedings, does not affect your right to contact your card issuer (clause 11.7), and does not affect any right you have to complain to a competent authority in the Sultanate of Oman.
25.4 Language. These Terms and the companion policies are published in English. Where we provide a translation of any of them, it is supplied for convenience.
Version 1.2-2026-09-22 · This version replaces version 1.1-unreviewed-2026-09-21, which replaced version 1.0-unreviewed-2026-09-05, which replaced the Terms and Conditions dated 22 March 2024.
